The collection consists of one CD-ROM with 25 images of campus during the February 2, 2011 snow day at Michigan State University. On this day classes were canceled and non-essential faculty and staff were told not to report to work due to a snow storm. Claude Hanish's scrapbook consists of photographs and newspaper articles depicting campus scenes, sports, and other student activities from 1909 to 1911 at Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University). Other items in the scrapbook include varsity letters, programs for college events, and commencement booklets.
The collection consists of a Michigan Agricultural College Federal Preparatory School diploma (1923), and a 1922 certificate for completion of a M.A.C. two year short course. Both were awarded to Cleo M. Colburn. The short course certificate is undated but the tube it was mailed to Colburn in was dated February 18, 1922. The return address was Short Course Department, Michigan Agriculture College (now Michigan State University).

The records of the Collation Literary Society contain the handwritten minutes of the society from 1915 to 1929.
