Scope and Contents
The Anne E. Tracy collection contains correspondence, notes, inventories, and miscellaneous material related to the creation of the Special Collections LGBTQ+ collection at MSU Libraries, as well as some biographical material on Anne E. Tracy. The collection traces some of the research done by Tracy to build the LGBT collection, and gives examples of how the collection began to be used in course instruction.

These records are primarily documents that were created for and during the meetings of the Capital Area Rail Council. They include agendas, minutes, correspondence and other communications, legal documents, and drawings for railway station upgrades. In addition, there are several files that describe the history of the council. The collection also contains numerous electronic files, many of which were also included in paper format.

This collection consists of letters, notes, reports and maps from Monroe's survey work. Also included are Monroe's notes about bills he introduced in the Michigan State Senate in the 1880s, and a diary kept during a trip to Europe, Egypt, and England in 1904.
