Collection Summary:

This collection of fifteen folders in two boxes is a print copy of materials released as a FOIA request on Cesar E. Chavez and the United Farm Workers union. The FBI investigated Chavez and the union he led based on allegations in 1965 that he and others within the organization had communist affiliations. No evidence was found to substantiate the claims.
