Count Teleki’s diaries (original and translations), letters to Prince Rudolph, photographs, biographical notes.

Historical Background:

Their discoveries of Lake Rudolf and the Omo River in northern Kenya, and Lake Stephanie in southern Ethiopia were the last major European discoveries in East Africa.  The account of their travels were published in Discovery of Lakes Rudolf and Stephanie: a narrative of Count Samuel Teleki’s exploring and hunting expedition in Eastern Equatorial Africa in 1887 & 1888, by Ludwig von Hehnel.
