The collection consists of a St. James Men's Club event program and photos from 1956. The event was Duffy Daugherty Rose Bowl Highlights. Included are the event program and five photographs showing Duffy Daugherty and other speakers. Also included is a photocopy of a Lansing Catholic High School Magazine article about Father Mac Fields from 2018.

MSU Band: Rose Bowl, 1956
The Michigan State University Band travels by train to the Rose Bowl in 1956. In addition to pre-game and half-time shows, the band makes concert appearances in Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles' Pershing Square, Tucson, Dallas, and St. Louis. The pre-game show is entitled "The Toy Town Band on Parade", and the half-time show is "Story of the American Bandstand". The band is also shown marching in the 67th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade.
