Scope and Contents

This collection consists of bills, The Grand Constitution of Pi Delta Epsilon, scripts for the 1925 fraternity initiation ritual, minutes of a meeting, and the charter record book of the Michigan State College chapter. The charter record book includes a history of Pi Delta Epsilon, the by-laws of the fraternity, and register, with records of members between the years 1924 and 1930. The charter was in the “Charter of Pi Delta Epsilon” binder but was removed for preservation reasons.

Scope and Contents The collection contains two scrapbooks that George Culp made during his college years. They contain newspaper clippings, programs for athletic and other events, tickets for events, humorous drawings by James Trott, postcards of New York City, a ROTC certificate, a commencement program, and his diploma. The collection consists of university memorabilia (25 items) including copies of The Spartan, an alumni catalogue, a student handbook, The Helot, Xi Gamma Gabber, blue books, football ticket stubs, a student activity handbook, a sophomore prom dance card and a fraternity banquet invitation.
