Scope and Contents

The Charles Johnson collection consists of a class materials including syllabi, notes and handouts for LA 256, LA 254, Weaving 813c,and EGR 365. The material for each class is incomplete. Also included is Songs of Theta Chi which was produced by the national organization. Also included is an oversize drawing of a living room furnture layout for the MSU Theta Chi fraternity drawn by Johnson Brothers Furniture Company in 1987. It is unknown if this layout was used by the fraternity.

Scope and Contents The records of M. Cecil Mackey were created or collected primarily in his capacity as president of Michigan State University (1979-1985). Issues that span multiple presidencies may be documented here, as well as other presidents' files. Scope and Contents

The Stephen Masar collection contains materials from his time as a student at MSU. Included are study guides for sociology, American Thought and Language and Natuarl Science 183; student activity and theater ticket books, Beta Zeta Theta Chi and MSU fraternity brochures, how to use the MSU library booklets. There are also brochures about campus housing and residence halls as well a letter with move in details and a letter to residence advisors and hall presidents.
