Scope and Contents

The collection consists of 11 volumes of Effective Living course syllabi and readings; original minutes of the Basic Education Planning Committee and the Curriculum Committee (March-May, 1944); a “confidential” report of an undated faculty survey relating to the establishment of the Basic College and the Effective Living courses. The collection is arranged chronologically.

The collection also includes unpublished annual reports for 1945-1953.

Scope and Contents

The records of Office of Evaluation Services consist of annual reports (1952-1975), test scores (1940-1969), student attitudes inventory (undated) and summary reports of research related to the testing and evaluation of college students and curriculums, some published as Office of Evaluation Research Reports.

Scope and Contents The collection consists of curriculum materials such as syllabi from Humanities courses, Greer’s handwritten lecture notes and outlines, and lists of textbooks used for Humanities courses.
