Ethel Rathke papers

Scope and Contents

The bulk of this collection consists of scrapbooks. The twenty scrapbooks are filled with newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and pictures covering such diverse topics as World War II, the Middle East, Lansing and East Lansing, Japanese culture and flower gardening. Also included are Ethel Rathke's prose and poetry and her correspondence with publishing companies, friends, and acquaintances.

Gordon Schlubatis papers

Scope and Contents

The collection contains trip reports, correspondence, slides, maps and travel booklets related to Schlubatis' time spent working as an agriculture agent overseas. There are also awards, scrapbooks, and photographs. Also included are materials related to his wife Harriet Schlubatis including awards, a Michigan Normal School yearbook, and a student expense register.

Scope and Contents Harald Patton papers primarily document his World War I experiences. The correspondence consists of letters written by Patton to Marguerite Irene Taylor, who later became his wife, friends and relatives, and dates almost entirely from 1915 to 1919.
