Reynolds collection of 4 volumes contains correspondence, receipts, bank deposits, purchase orders, board resolutions, and other records associated with Board of Agriculture and the Michigan Agricultural College. Of special note are papers related to the Samuel Johnson Affair (1886-1889) which culminated in the resignation of four professors and the suspension of 18 students.
