Scope and Contents

From the Record Group:

The records of the Office of Planning and Budget contain early accounts, vouchers, receipts and cancelled checks for 1852 to 1924. Of interest are bills for boarding halls, student labor accounts, and bills for equipment. The 1875, 1876 and first part of 1877 vouchers are in order of year, abstract letter, and finally voucher number. This was done as there was no sequence of voucher numbers and in some cases repeats of same number and abstract. Ex. 1-103B, 1-22D. The last half of 1877 was put into voucher number order, without regard to abstract. Other records in the collection include university budget requests and proposals as well as final budgets. There are also budget administration folders for 1957-1964 that contain administrator memos and correspondence and news clippings. Also included are salary information, salary and pay policies, block tuition reports, a space management report on policies and procedures. There is also a university data book for 1990 which contains student, course, faculty, staff, and financial data.

Electronic Resources include correspondence in the form of e-mail memos and attachments.
