Scope and Contents

This collection consists of an annotated photocopy of one letter written by Clinton D. Smith to the Wheelers on November 29, 1902. Smith describes many of recent happenings on the Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) campus including the death of Robert Kedzie. He also mentions William J. Beal, Robert Shaw, Ulysses P. Henrick, and Levi R. Taft. Topics in the letter include changes in personnel, the cutting down of trees on campus and the personal lives of some of the faculty members.
