The records of the Student Council are comprised of two bound volumes, containing the constitution and bylaws, and the meeting minutes, respectively. The constitution and bylaws outline the assorted powers of the council, including the power to hold trials and the ability to pass residence hall standards. The meeting minutes contain proceedings of the meetings from April 13, 1875 - October 3, 1880. Also included in the collection is a pamphlet of the constitution and bylaws of the Student Council of Michigan State College.
