The collection consists of curriculum materials such as syllabi from Humanities courses, Greer’s handwritten lecture notes and outlines, and lists of textbooks used for Humanities courses. Also included are materials related to the National Teach In and the Michigan State University Teach In on the Vietnam War with Greer’s speech and handwritten notes, and newspaper clippings. Meeting notes and minutes from many of the committees Greer served on, including the Steering Committee of the Faculty, All College Educational Research Committee, Basic College Educational Research Committee, Educational Policy Committee, and Committee on the Future of the Department of Humanities. Information files on topics and people, such as the Vietnam War, Women’s Liberation, MSU president Clifton Wharton, and Judy Taylor (the first wheelchair user at MSU), can be found in the collection.
