 Sub-Series

Scope and Contents note

From the Series:

This category, extending from Folders 17-31 of Box 6658, contains cases heard by the Civil Service Commission of Michigan, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York. Included are four advisory reports prepared for the Michigan Civil Service Commission in 1958 by Dr. Killingsworth and Melvin Segal.

The next three categories: Connecticut Board of Labor Relations, Ontario Labor Relations Board, and Wisconsin Employment Relations Board extend from Box 6658, Folder 32 to Box 6660, Folder 13. These agencies were designed to hear unfair labor practice cases and hold union certification elections. For a discussion of certain issues in labor law, the researcher should examine the reviews of the Wisconsin Employment Relations Board decisions done by various Circuit Courts and the Wisconsin Supreme Court, in Box 6660, Folders 1-10.
