The collection contains the book A Boy's View of Michigan Agricultural College in the 1890s. The book uses issues of The Eagle to look at life at Michigan Agricultural College (M.A.C., now Michigan State University) in 1892-1893. The Eagle was a small newspaper published by Dutton’s father, Roscoe Kedzie, when he was a teenager living with his grandfather, Robert C. Kedzie, on the M.A.C. campus.
