Scope and Content

From the Collection:

The Victor Strecher papers include a map of the city of Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City from 1959. The map includes streets as well as outlines of where buildings stand. The map is in Vietnamese. The electronic resources include reminiscences written by Victor Strecher about his time at MSU as a student and patrolman, his time in Vietnam, and his experience in creating the State Planning Agency for Michigan law enforcement. There are also two digital images of Strecher's young sons in 1960 with loyalist Hmong troops after the attempted coup.
