Michigan Agricultural College Post Cards
Scope and Contents
The Harry Bone scrapbook contains a student register that contains the names and addresses of various Michigan Agricultural College students from 1912 to 1914, presumably of students that knew Bone. The scrapbook includes photos of the Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Machine and Cement labs, foundry, forge, drawing classroom and Columbian Society rooms.. There is also group portraits of mechanical engineering faculty, drawing department faculty, the Board of Control. In addition, there are also scenes of a large group of people at a picnic, student dormitory rooms, clubs (such as the rifle club, union literary society, glee club), campus buildings (Wells Hall, Chemistry, Power House), the Red Cedar river from behind Wells Hall. There are also photos of Tau Beta Phi members, students (some of which are identified), and individual faculty (some of which are identified), and family members. Other images include, Ludington, Michigan dock, Saugatuck Harbor, Ashland Boulevard as seen from Van Buren St. in Chicago. In addition, to the scrapbook, there is also a folder containing postcards with scenes of campus buildings (the Power House, Chemistry Hall, College Hall,) the Michigan State Capitol Building, and photo of the class of 1914.
