Electronic resources consist of digitized images of the glass lantern slides, video slides of those images, and digital and digitized documents including drawings and notes, articles and pamphlets written by Tyrrell, and publications that reference him or his work.

The glass lantern slides depict images of birds taken by W. Bryant Tyrrell. Images include ospreys,red shouldered hawks, turkey buzzards, blue birds, barred owls, bald eagles, ravens, hummingbirds, ducks, and bobwhite quail. Also shown are nests, young birds, and backyard birds at bird feeders. There are also images of Boy Scouts engaged in activities related to birds such as bird watching and making birdhouses. Finally, there are images of a rock formation labeled as "Old Rag, VA" and the "Mt. Club bird group." Some of the images show people photographing birds in trees or looking for nests.
