East Lansing Woman’s Club Yearbooks, 1950 - 1951
Scope and Content
This collection contains yearbooks from the Michigan Agricultural College Woman's Club, which was organized in 1903 and federated in 1904. These yearbooks date from 1907 until 1922, when the organization changed its name to the East Lansing Woman's Club. The yearbooks continue from 1922 until 2018. Each yearbook details the members, the officers, and the activities of each club meeting for the year. Later yearbooks also include past presidents and budgetary information. The collection also contains an unpublished eighty page manuscript about the history of the East Lansing Woman's Club written by Mae Belle McKune. Topics included are each year's discussion subject and membership, as well as a one paragraph synopsis of the club activity by year. Appended is a list of the club's presidents from 1903 to 1978.
