Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The collection consists of papers of William C. Blanton which he saved from his time as a student. Blanton includes written reminiscens and comments with the materials. Included are materials about 1963 National Merit Scholars; the Academic Fredeem Report published in the State News; an ASMSU campaign flyer for Tom Samet, and Rose Bowl newspapers, buttons, pennant, and Tournament of Roses Parade program. There are also materials related to the United Students organization which contains a cartoon featuring Blanton, articles and damage report for the Kiss-in demonstration, part of a police report and article about vigils. The collection also contains two issues of The Paper, an underground student newspaper.
