Scope and Contents
This collection contains items from Ruth Hauffe's life, particularly her time at Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw and at MSC. Included are photographs of Hauffe and and her friends and classmates, including her sorority, Chi Omega. Of particular note is a collection of poems that Hauffe wrote at some point in her life, with linocut prints for added detail.
The Ruth Hauffe collection contains material from her time at Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw as well as Michigan State College. Included are portraits of eleventh grade high school students, high school students at a Cranbrook summer conference, and Arthur Hill High Scool reunion programs. There is also material from the MSU chapter of Chi Omega, newspaper clippings, dance cards, photographs and a photo album of her college friends. In addition there are items she recieved from servicemen including photos of them in uniform, a poem, and an Order of the Alligator membership card.
