These papers reflect Dr. Wharton’s time spent on Aspen’s Board of Trustees. They range from correspondence, meeting schedules and committee reports that were sent to Dr. Wharton.

Biographical / Historical

Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies was founded in 1949 and developed the Executive Seminar in the Socratic style. Now known as The Aspen Institute, as of 1989, has offices around the world, and is a nonpartisan forum for values-based leadership and the exchange of ideas.
