Scope and Contents
The material consists of annual reports, meeting minutes, and publications written by Winrock International staff, on economics, business, and agriculture issues throughout the world. Included with these papers is correspondence, memos, lists of trustees, financial documents, and real estate information.

Biographical / Historical
Founded in 1953 by Winthrop Rockefeller, Winrock Enterprises and Winrock Farms, along with the Agricultural Development Council, and the International Agricultural Development Service, became Winrock International in 1973. Projects supported by Winrock International focus on four main areas, Agriculture, economic development, energy, and environment.
These papers reflect Dr. Wharton’s time spent on Winrock International Board of Directors. They range from correspondence, meeting schedules and committee reports that were sent to Dr. Wharton.
