Scope and Contents
The records of the College of Social Science include social work lectures (1958-1962), appointments (1962-1965), handbooks of undergraduate courses (1970-1972), a report on a multi part survey on the purpose, operations, attitudes and perceptions of Michigan State University (1970), a health care plan proposal (1971), curriculum descriptions (1966), college development papers (1967), and an administrators' handbook (1970).
Also included are alumni newsletters, News from C.R.I.S. newsletter (Center for Redevelopment of Industrialized States), pamphlets outlining study abroad, notes from the planning committee, and correspondence pertaining to the bylaws revisions of the college. Also included is a Chicano Latino Studies graduate program handbook and a Chicano Latino Studies advisory committee report.
The collection also includes unpublished annual reports for 1962 - 1972 and three serials: Social Science College - Publications, Social Science Series and Re-Visions.
There are also digital editions of the College of Social Science's alumni newsletter, Ventures, from 2008 to 2016.
