There is also material relating to Clifton R. Wharton Sr. and his time as a U.S. Ambassador. The collection also contains genealogical materials.

Arrangement
The Speeches series is organized into three sections. The first section contains copies of speeches C.R. Wharton gave and are organized in chronological order. The second section are files of material associated with some speeches, such as correspondence, arrangements, and research materials. Each file relates to a specific speech and is organized chronolocically. The third section is testimony that was given to the New York Legislature and the U.S. Congress.
