“English as a Subversive Activity: An Unofficial Guide for English Majors at Michigan State University”, 1972-1973
Scope and Contents
The Harry R. Hoppe papers include articles by Hoppe and organized alphabetically. The collection also contains “Beginnings,” a book of poetry compiled by Michigan State University’s first poetry course during the fall of 1961, dedicated to the study, criticism, and writing of modern poetry. Additionally, the collection includes a 1966-1967 “Directory of International Academic Interests and Experience” published by Michigan State University, with a section detailing Hoppe’s travels; and an “English as a Subversive Activity: An Unofficial Guide for English Majors at Michigan State University” booklet for the 1972-1973 academic year.
