Smith then presents MSU President Clifton R. Wharton, Jr., who dedicates the facility to its namesake, Clarence L. "Biggie" Munn. Wharton acknowledges Munn's past achievements as the former Head Football Coach and as the previous Athletic Director. The recording ends with Smith indicating that Munn is present and will receive a ceremonial puck on the ice.
