Footage of the 1953 Michigan State College (MSC) Spartans in pre-season practice at Macklin Stadium. Head Coach Clarence "Biggie" Munn and his staff pose with the players, the team tries out some plays on the field, and the film ends with images of the season's schedule sign, the outside of the stadium, and the Spartan statue.
