Mary Kramer Grammel papers
Scope and Contents
The Mary Kramer Grammel papers span the years 1897 to 1899 and consist of domestic science note cards, a sewing instruction booklet, a sewing sampler booklet, and notes from her 1899 physics class. The physics notes include diagrams for experiments with matching lab worksheets and mathematical formulas, as well as practice problems. She had her note cards from her domestic science class bound into a book for future use. The sewing instruction booklet explains how to sew certain hems and where to cut for patterns. The sampler book contains various stitching patterns.

Biography
Mary Kramer attended Michigan Agricultural College for the 1898-1899 academic year, but did not graduate. She later enrolled in the women's course (home economics) in 1901. She married R. G. Grammel.
