George Henry Ellis papers
Scope and Contents
Papers of George Ellis consist of a scrapbook, college songs, poems written by Ellis, and a line graph Ellis drew showing his salary increases and describing his various engineering jobs from 1907 to 1950. The scrapbook contains photographs of Ellis and his friends, a 1906 Michigan Agricultural College calendar, college songs and yells, and photographs cut from M.A.C. catalogs dating from 1899.

Biographical Note
George Henry Ellis, of Flushing, Michigan, earned his B.S. degree in Engineering from Michigan Agricultural College in 1907, and his Civil Engineering Certification in 1912. In 1931, he was employed as an engineer with the Montana Power Company in Butte, Montana.
