Scope and Contents

The David Jones collection consists of photocopies of articles by David Jones about the Owosso Machine Company and Clarence L. Gangluff. There are also articles about restoring the Pere Marquette Engine 1225 by the Michigan State University Railroad Club as well as a script for a film about the fire up of the engine. Other materials include a reminiscence by David Jones about Del Bennett and note cards and speeches from the effort to prevent Senate Bill #1 Criminal Justice Codification, Revision and Reform Act. In addition there are also two reel-to-reel tapes of an interview with Wendell A. Sturges and Ruth Sturges by David Jones in 1979.
