This collection consists primarily of tax receipts (1881-1893) for property and poll taxes levied on Andrew C. and Jane B. Johnson of LaPorte, Indiana. Also included is a tax statement (1897) for LaPorte, a tax receipt from Porter County, Indiana (1889) and an undated land allotment.
