Detroit News films
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of two films produced by the Detroit News. The first film, "Both Sides of the Question" (1970), argues for fairness and accuracy in news reporting. The film presents actual Detroit News coverage of controversial news stories such as Vietnam and Kent State.
The second film, "North Plant" (1973), describes the planning, construction, and operation of the Detroit News newspaper plant. It includes discussion of new production and newsroom technology.
