Scope and Contents
The collection contains diaries, account books for the household and farm, tax receipts, and miscellaneous papers of the Ernest Hall family. Included are three diaries (1932-1946) of Susannah Lindsey Hall, wife of Ernest Hall.

Biographical Note
Ernest Hall operated a farm near Prairieville, in Barry County, Michigan. He also owned property in Prairieville and Orangeville which he developed and rented as tenant farms.
