Scope and Contents

This collection contains court dockets from Watertown Township, Clinton County, Michigan. Entries in volume 1 are primarily for the years 1867-1882, with the addition of entries concerning the case of the White Sewing Machine Company vs. Isaac M. Dryer from the year 1885 (pp. 139, 145, 277). Entries in volume 2 extend from 1887 to 1906. Related documents include such items as justice's summonses and executions. Also included is an unwitnessed and unregistered warranty deed indenture between John Cripit (?) and his wife and Frank Dixon of said Township (1884).
