Scope and Contents
This collection contains the following items:
A) A personal note of the indebtedness of the brothers Renselaer C. and George G. Whitney, owners of a livery firm in Mt. Pleasant, to William H. Kuiter (1885).
B) A notarized warranty deed from the St. Andrew's Bay Railroad, Land and Mining Company conveying land in Washington County, Florida to George W. Foutz (correct spelling Fouts), a farmer of Lincoln Township, Isabella County, Michigan (1886).
C) Receipts from the Treasurer's Offices of Coe Township (1891) and the village of Shepherd (1895) for property taxes paid by Mary E. Fouts, wife of George W.
