Twentieth-Century American History colloquium
Scope and Contents
The collection contains four papers presented at the colloquium in honor of Madison Kuhn held by former students. The papers are "Sophonisba Breckenridege: The Relationship Between Social Work and the Social Justice Movement, 1890-1946," by Anthony R. Travis; "Popular Culture and the Modern Historian," by Lewis Carlson; "John Collier and the Indians of the Americas: The Dream and the Reality," by Kenneth Philp; and "Virginia's Clifton A. Woodrum and the Congressional New Deal, 1933-1939," by James Sargent.
