Biographical Note
The Fenner family has its roots in Germany. One descendent of the family is Carl Georg Fenner who was a graduate of Michigan Agricultural College ( Class of 1923). Fenner worked for the city of Lansing, Michigan for 39 years. He held the position of city Forester eventually becoming the Parks Department Superintendent. The Fenner Nature Center in Lansing is named in his honor.
