Scope and Contents
The collection contains photographs of Michigan Agricultural College forestry students at a lumbering camp in Cheboygan County, Michigan during the summer of 1913. Also included is an account of the camp's activities written by Fisher in 1953.

Biographical Note
George Karl Fisher was an Michigan Agricultural College forestry student who graduated in 1915. He was a native of Interlochen, Michigan. During his time at MAC he was involved in many activities. He later earned a Master's degree from the University of Chicago. In 1931 he was the principal of McMillan Township Junior/Senior High School in Newberry, Michigan.
