Biographical Note

While he was a student at Michigan State University in the 1990s, Adam Miller drew editorial cartoons for the school newspaper, the State News. His most famous cartoon was titled ‘Student Ghetto’ and depicted the lives of several of his real-life friends living in the student ghetto. The strip ran for three semesters and was so popular, it was re-run. Miller graduated in 1999 and tried to get the strip syndicated but there was no real market for strips about college students. So he changed the characters to college graduates and renamed the strip ‘Bachelor Party.’ Miller signed a contract with Creators Syndicate and ‘Bachelor Party’ debuted in September 2002.
