Historical Note
The Student Organic Farm was initiated by students in 1999. It is a four season farm using passive solar greenhouses (unheated hoop houses). The first season of production was Spring of 2002. This farm uses the Community Supported Agriculture model and provides produce throughout the year. The Student Organic Farm offers an Organic Farming Certificate Program as a formal approach to organic farming learning.
