Historical Note

The Administration and Higher Education Department (1964-1981) was a sub-unit of the College of Education. It was preceded by the Educational Administration and Supervision Department (1952-1953), the Higher Education Department (1952-1953), and Administrative and Educational Services (1954-1959). From 1960 to 1963, "interest group" replaced departments. In 1981, the Department was combined with others in the Education College to form the Administration and Curriculum Department.
