The Large Animal Clinical Sciences Department Collection consists of course information about surgery, medicine, and reproduction and disease in large animals. There is also a small booklet with information on the Matilda R. Wilson Chair.

Historical Note
The College of Veterinary Medicine administers many departments including the Large Animal Clinical Sciences Department. Originally, in 1917 when the Department of Surgery and Medicine began, this department was combined with a few others. In 1968 Large Animal Clinical Sciences became a separate department in the college. The first department chairman was Fayne H. Oberst from 1968 to 1974.
