Historical Note
The Office of Medical Education Research and Development (OMERAD) was established in 1966 as a unit of the College of Human Medicine. Its mission is to improve medical education and related service programs through evaluation and research, consultation, relevant instruction, and programs of faculty development. OMERAD is the oldest continuously operated office of medical education in the United States.
