Biographical Note

Vishwa Mohan Mishra was born in 1937 in India. He held two M.A. degrees - one in Psychology from Patna University (1956) and one in Journalism from the University of Georgia (1958). He earned his Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota in 1969. Mishra joined the faculty of the School of Journalism at Michigan State University in 1969. He passed away in 2003.
