Historical Note

The Student Information System (SIS) is the central repository for most official, student-related electronic records. This system includes admissions, academic history, registration, address, financial aid, assessment, and billing information for students. Computer Enrollment (CE) and Telephone Enrollment (TE) also run within SIS. In addition, the system stores course and schedule information required to support these enrollment functions. The system runs on the AIS mainframe. Data in SIS feeds other related non-update systems, such as STU-INFO, INFO-ADMIN, and the SISINFO reporting database on the MSUDATA server.
