Constructed in 1940 and funded by the estate of Frederick Cowles Jenison and the Public Works of Art Project, Jenison Field House became the venue for the Michigan State basketball program until moving to the Breslin Student Events Center in 1989. Originally, Jenison had 10,004 seats, which has been reduced to 6,000 seats today. The three story art deco building currently is the venue for MSU’s women’s volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, indoor and outdoor track.
