Historical Note

The Instructional Development Service was created in 1965 to administer the Learning Service, Instructional Media Center, and Office of Evaluation Service. It was later called Instructional Development and Telecommunication Services and became a unit under the Office of Academic Services. In 1978 the Instructional Development and Telecommunications office was discontinued. All of the units it administered were managed by the Office of Academic Services.
