Biographical Note
Pauline Adams received her B.A. from Brooklyn College in 1942, an an M.A. from Columbia University in 1945, and also did graduate work at Yale from 1945 to 1947. She came to Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) in 1947 with her husband, Walter Adams. She began teaching in the American Thought and Language Department in 1956. She retired as an associate professor in 1992.
